WEEK #6

Tom Sharpe was an interesting speaker. I has no idea he was going to devote most of his presentation to boomerangs. It was really cool seeing how a math teacher could create creative projects for his/her students to do. He took something he seems passionate about and applied it to his teachings. It seems like a cool way to grab the attention of students and help them have fun in math and connect mathematical concepts to reality. 

I really want to know about Dave Edward's schooling and what he graduated with. I am interested in seeing how he got a math finance job and what it consists of. That is a route I am thinking of taking so I am eager to here his story. It will also be interesting to here what he has to say about the economy today. Especially since it is in turmoil and people are trying to figure out ways to boost the economy.
