WEEK #2

The tour of the lab was intriguing. It really gave me insight into what I can do as a math major and the opportunities I have for experiment and research. I think it makes perfect sense to have a lab for the mathematics department. It enables math majors to research themselves and figure out difficult problems. It also encourages math students to perform experiments and get involved in the math world.
To be honest, the lab seems a little intimidating to use any time soon. I definitely want to take advantage of the lab and use it for experiments and tests. I think it would be great to get involved with a company and have them sponsor group research and experiments.
My first weeks of classes are going well. I am enjoying UD so much and love everyone I met. I am trying to stay on top of my work and have been getting it done early which has been advantageous. I hope it stays that way.
I want this course to let me know more about being a math major. I want it to show me more opportunities I have with math. I also want it to encourage me to stick with math and let me know all the things I can take advantage of while I am here at UD.
